The Founding Members of E.O.F.S.A.A.
E.O.F.S.A.A.'s History
In the summer of 2008, then Educational Opportunity Fund Professional Association of New Jersey, E.O.F.P.A.N.J., President Barbara Harmon-Francis approached the Executive Board about creating a statewide E.O.F. Alumni Association that would bring E.O.F. alumni together from across the state. The executive board worked hard to reach out to alumni and in November 2008, the Educational Opportunity Fund Statewide Alumni Association, E.O.F.S.A.A., was formed.
The E.O.F. Statewide Alumni Association (E.O.F.S.A.A.) was officially introduced at the 40th Anniversary Celebration on November 14, 2008 at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. E.O.F.S.A.A was established to be a great networking and educational resource for EOF Alumni throughout the state.
E.O.F.S.A.A. was chaired by Mrs. Simone MackBright, a Rutgers University, E.O.F. Alumni. The Educational Opportunity Fund Statewide Alumni Association, (E.O.F.S.A.A.) is made up of E.O.F. alumni who have graduated from one of over fifty New Jersey Colleges and Universities.
